Why the CTS-V

Why thieves want your CTS-V.

The CTS-V packs the same supercharged LT family as the Camaro ZL1 into a sedan most people don't look at twice. Thieves aren't most people. They know what's under the hood.

On the CTS-V, your code goes in on buttons the car already has, like the steering wheel controls. Nothing new gets mounted on the dash, so there's nothing for a thief to spot or rip out.

01

Supercharged V8

The LT4 in the 2016-2019 car and the LSA before it are worth real money on their own.

02

Older electronics

On an older car, a hidden module that asks for a code is a big step up from the factory system.

03

Key programming

Get inside, plug into the port, pair a key. The car can't tell it's not yours.

How the code works

No code,
no start.

Try it. Hit START without the code, then put the demo code in on the wheel buttons. That's what a thief gets with a programmed key on your CTS-V: the first part.

IGLA vs Spynex

IGLA or Spynex?
Same goal. Here's the difference.

Both keep the engine blocked until your code goes in. Both hide on the CAN bus. Here's where they split, straight from each brand.

"Had a great experience with 12 Volt Shield Pros! Junior installed Spynex on my vehicle and did a great job. He was quick, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. He even came to my location, which made everything super convenient. Definitely recommend!"

FAQ

CTS-V questions.

Still wondering about something? Text (562) 686-4749.

Will it work on my 2009-2015 CTS-V?

Spynex runs over the CAN bus where it can and falls back to analog blocking where it can't. Text us the year and we'll confirm the fit.

Does it change how the car drives?

No. Once your code is in, the car drives exactly like it always has.

Who handles support after the install?

We do. Your installer handles service and support on the system.

Are you an IGLA dealer?

No. We install IGLA systems, and we're a Spynex dealer. If you've been looking at IGLA, text us your car and we'll walk you through both so you can pick.
